I’m continuing in February by expanding. 2 days on one project, or build off something existing, add B sections, etc.
2 days for Twobruary
Then comes Mar3h, 4pril, M5y, 6une, Ju7y, au8ust, Se9tember
Oc10ber, No11ember, and by year’s end I’ll be spending 12 days per project for Decem12er

Eh, part of me wants to disclaim these since they are so unpolished. The thinking goes: If I post to a junky site like soundcloud that’s one thing, but Bandcamp is a Real Site for Real Albums. If I post these recordings there that means it is The Best That I Can Do. Ego, basically. Working thru it

Subconsciously I added a third criterion: simple, fast, and now *accessible*. Because, my brain says, if it’s accessible then that number will go higher. But when I’m sketching, this takes me out of the moment and away from the FEELING of the music which is like the entire damn point

Since I decided to share these daily sketches online, every sketch gets tracked, and each gets a score of how many listens, how many likes. I’ve found myself yearning to hit those higher numbers again. I mean okay they are very low in the grand scheme but number go up 🥴📈
