If you're ever in Asheville, hit up the Moogseum. Late in life, Bob Moog moved near Asheville and taught at UNC Asheville. There's a cute little museum with theremins and synths

Pictured here with my sort of Frankensteined Danelectro 4021 (with the weird batwing headstock). In rough shape and put together with pieces from eBay so not worth really anything but to me. Did put a '59 lipstick pickup in the neck though and it might be the best sounding one I own.

Pro tip: find yourself the kind of partner who will see you take a picture of a painted cardboard cloud and a hibiscus seedling and smile instead of having you justifiably committed or serving you divorce papers. It's art, I promise.

New music out next month! In the meantime, a bit of show and tell on this '71 Musicmaster bass. Bought the body online (look at the state of the poor thing), refinished, put new hardware and a proper pickup in. Now it's what you'll hear in my music.
