I liked Odyssey and Valhalla! I'd say Odyssey is probably the more traditional Assassin's Creed game of the two but I had fun with Valhalla.

I've been looking into Demiplane, but still need to acquaint myself with the layout of the site, but happy to hear any other alternatives!

Oh definitely, I've been using it since around 2017 and it wasn't very convenient (for me) back when it started but it's definitely come a long way. I don't love the model in terms of purchasing content but it definitely helps new players understand the mechanics

I was at Citta back then and had a very similar experience with the group I ran with. Honestly only started getting back into the scene recently but when I look back on it it really did do a number on me

This has always been my stance too, especially since while some of my players would probably really have fun with Pathfinder 2e, D&D Beyond really does make the game so much more accessible to my less mechanics-savvy players
