So yes the united stated does “crack down” on cars. Most cars have to go through a yearly inspection that includes checking your brakes, you also need a license to drive a car, and you need insurance to drive a car. You are making a false equivalence regardless.

Fentanyl is extremely potent, weed can be easily cross contaminated if it was even on the same surface for a second. Theres accounts of cops overdosing on fentanyl just by opening car doors and it being there.

We have a fentanyl epidemic. Majority of the time it is not deliberately laced it is residue or contaminated. My cousin died from weed laced with fentanyl.

It is legal, it has to be properly regulated and taxed tho. You aren’t allowed to sell your own cigarettes or alcohol for the same reason. This is actually a good economic move.
