No worries, I'm in the exact same boat every time I get any kind of compliment or well-wishes, it starts feeling repetitive and all I can do is hope people don't feel like I'm just giving them a stock response. XD;

I couldn't begin to guess what you've been going through, but I know you don't owe a single apology for unproductivity. The past few years have been a hard lesson in health/trauma/world events taking a chunk out of peoples' dreams and passions, and sometimes all we can do is rest. (1/2)

Haha, it's honestly my favorite- I know I'm in the minority there, but it just hit me hard at a really influential time in my life I think (sad 11-year-old in a new town with no friends, you know how it is).

For some people it's a phase they thankfully grow out of, but I'm always astonished at how many people seem to make this kind of thing their entire personality and NEVER grasp that the only effect their commentary has is making them a freaking BUMMER to be around.
