Huh. Just noticed the background squiggles are stable between loads of the wrapped. I wonder if they’re steganographic to ID the user?

He was apparently the Chief Information Security Officer. Which could be anything from executive staff leading security initiatives, to being glorified head of helpdesk. Not many chickens involved either way, I expect.

No grinding dentition, so most fibers are out. Fangs probably don't develop until juvenile (given more standard mammalian formats), because birth would be... ew. Mouth can't open that far, so large prey is probably out. Hyper reflexes, infrared vision... bats. They eat bats.

Build home appliances that last 40 years and are highly user serviceable.
Capital required is prohibitive, and the odds of profits are small, but damn it would feel good to topple the disposable appliance industry.

Had one of those. Former owner had cut through a joist underneath the tub, so the floor would flex every time the bathtub was filled. Still dealing with the fixes.

My late mother would tell the story of a child in her semi-rural area of NY getting rabies from a stray dog. The parents killed their child rather than let him suffer that death.

My old printed photos, in a box in the basement. My kids are wonderful adults now, my parents have passed. They’re not bad memories, but it’s a lot to revisit.
