I don't like the narrative that "fascism always loses". It implies that the natural state of the world is good, and that we do not need to actively work to bring about that good. It gives people an excuse to do nothing because, surely, fascism will lose. but it won't. Not unless we actively fight it

My DnD table does character fun facts at top of each session. A while back, one of my fellow players accused me of minmaxxing my fun facts, and I still think about that at least once a week. (He was right.)

yeah one-shots and miniseries are great but have you ever stuck with an actual play for dozens and dozens of sessions as the characters grew, regressed, bloomed, backslid and rallied over and over again….. there’s nothing quite like it i fear
