My late friend who was also a beautiful queer man was in a manic episode when LAPD barged in unwarranted and charged him with assault on an officer. Part of the reason he’s no longer with us is because he did not want to go back to jail. I wonder if this is a racist homophobic pattern of abuse.

Like reparations tasks forces are. It would have to be lineage based. Problem is that it excludes generations of Africans that may or may not have been able to thrive stateside and subjected to modern racism.
