They tapped into the anger and destructive emotions that the american people feel. They want change. They want something different. They don't want establishment. Who does that but good? LEftists. Bernie. But Dems always attack us.

I am happy for all the good things he did but his ego fucked us this election. We now know that he KNEW he was going to lose from internal polling (by 400 electoral votes) and ran again for president regardless. His old man refusing to give up his drivers license fit doomed us.

Their only real shot of winning honestly is flipping to populist economic rhetoric and actually doing left social policies and economics. They keep running to the right when they're center-right and it KEEPS failing.

The DNC and national party needs to get their act together and start doing economic populism first and foremost. As for podcasts, I don't listen to news podcasts myself and primarily get my stuff from ground news, but this isn't an us thing, this is a dem party thing. The leaders gotta step up.

Honestly we don't need to be expanding to Roku or TV. That's part of the problem. Old Media. Dems lost this cycle because they relied on newspaper after the tv came out essentially. What we need is to signal boost left leaning podcasts and youtube channels like crazy.

Sam Seder and Brian Cohen are both pretty good. The latter is a bit sensationalist but he's doing his best to actually create a left wing media space.
