Following the news right now feels like disaster tourism on an endless cruise. It’s important, but drains my batteries fast. Local awareness and action have been more manageable and cathartic. I’m really digging helping small businesses. I like shaking hands and looking at clients in the eyes.

Lean marketing is sensible, but you know what’s good? Fat and fanfare. Fat is taste. Fanfare is celebratory. The glistening juices of a well-prepared marketing effort are more appealing than a dry, overcooked slab that was boiled in a factory. #marketingsky

We don’t need a penny coin, however the argument that it takes 3 cents to make 1 and therefore should be stopped is problematic.
That penny will change hands many times over so its “value” isn’t in its monetary equivalent. Its essence is its role in facilitating transactions.

People who think marketing is just advertising and psychological manipulation are grossly misinformed. When you bring new products to the world, there’s a lot of uncharted territory to discover about humanity. That’s the fun stuff.

Just a quick DYK for folks moving to #Rednote after the TikTokpalypse: Chinese has multiple dialects—not just Mandarin, which are verbalized. The written language is basically the same, unless tho other dialects have unique conveyances. But Cantonese has the best swear words.
