Numbers showing how much better the bottom 50% of the country would be doing if 3 men didn't own as much wealth as the bottom 50% of the country. Add to that the cost of the GOP ignoring climate change - increased insurance premiums and such. We're in a class war and the rich are winning.

The public is asleep, and so are the Dems. I live in AZ. The latest AZ GOP tax cut for the rich resulted in Tucson (population 1 M) receiving $60million less in state tax revenue that was supposed to go to funding police and fire. I saw no Dem politicians publicizing this in their 2024 campaigns.

30 years off cable. Yes, broadcast TV commercials are annoying, but that's when I do my dishes - in 4-minute increments. PBS is relatively commercial free, so that helps.

If it fits the character's mindset, it's fine. Reading about people who think differently than we do expands our consciousness. It also gives the author an opportunity to show the character's growth as the story unwinds.

Virtually every comment here totally misses the point. The Dems lost because the cost of living went up, but rather than explain why, they pivoted to "joy." The problem with Dems is that they think everyone is informed and capable of critical thinking. The opposite is true in presidential elections.
