As a sometimes commission painter, yeah, I hate mold lines.
My problem with them is that if the model has them, it shows a bit of incomplete construction. So what else is wrong with the model then?
I’ve taken to adding a 10% surcharge for mold line removal.
20% if the models are kitbashed.
