I think he did "burn some capital" but he very well may pick up some Alberta and Prairie support because of it. I think people who avoided PP would still do so, since PP hasn't changed a bit and Carney is pretty much doing what he said he would. Don’t forget, most of BC is in favour of a pipeline.

I get we need to get some of our riches to market and gain some independence via other markets, but getting back on coal is a step too far, and it should be even for this wing nut.
