Nice. I don't know of very many homes where the laundry is done in the garage, but that's OK. Now all a person has to do is install a 240V dryer plug in their garage. That rebate should just about cover the cost of an electrician.

I'm not worried about that. There are enough checks and balances in the system to ensure there will be elections.

On the plus side, if Poilievre keeps making stupid comments like he has in this interview, he will never be PM, so this will be moot.

He may, as PM, be able to push this through thanks to the notwithstanding clause, but if he were to do this, there would be a serious backlash that would probably culminate in his party being decimated at election time.
