It’s “elected” not “can serve.” The wording is pretty clear, clear enough for a republican lead Supreme Court anyway.

He can do it, the same way Putin did. Run as VP then have puppet president stand down. It’s all been hashed out and it is legal according to the constitution. We have no one to blame but ourselves for not safeguarding against it.

Democrats have no one to blame but themselves for not safeguarding against this in 2020. No republican would have dared vote against an amendment stating that “no president can serve more than 2 terms.” The way it stands now he can run as VP and then take over when Vance or Kushner stands down.
