When horses are truly happy, you’ll find them doing something they don’t allow themselves to do unless they feel completely safe — laying down together. One horse usually stays standing to keep watch, but in a place of trust and peace, a whole herd may rest side by side, stretched out in the sun.

The sunlight setting was brilliant tonight, no filters, no light enhancements.
My instinct was to brush the mud off, and untangle his mane, but the pure brilliance of the red sun contrasting with his bay color is so authentic.

With Mucho Chrome and Adde ❤️ Adde has not been released yet from her doctors to ride, (she’s recovering from Shoulder surgery ) but it doesn’t stop her from coming out to see Mucho Chrome and longe him, western. Yee-Haw!
