8bitdo's new controller works on Xbox wirelessly, has some classy Rare branding, but is $90. Microsoft licensing must be brutal. At least they threw in some thumbstick grips...

Took a while to get here, but man am I impressed with the build quality. The buttons are too clickly for my tastes, but I think I can change out the switches. This'd be an easr rec to people @~$100, but there isn't a PS version--just Switch and Xbox. Both work on PC though.

Holy shit does this Nova 2 Lite d-pad have a hair-trigger. I think it might even feel too sensitive, but I can hold down and rock left and right and the diagonal won't register until I want it to register. It's a damn fine d-pad if you can get used to how sensitive it is.

To celebrate Jason's bday tonight (June 13th 1946), we're going to watch the first and arguably last F13 movie: The OG and Jason X. Wide swath, I know. I've yet to see these in 4K and have been saving them just for tonight.
