Recently, I made a video talking about the fact I felt guilty for not finishing a project or making something new recently.
Does that mean I have a deadline to meet? No.
Gap in my wardrobe to fill? No.
Or that I haven’t been working on a project? Nope.

I had a wonderful day down in Perth yesterday at the Scottish Wool Producers Showcase.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stall for good squish, happy natter and generally lovely things. My heart is full, my soul is warmed and my mind is buzzing with inspiration.

These heritage mills are helping to keep British wool and textile manufacturing alive.

Sometimes I feel such a sense of despair at the state of the British wool industry, the news of the next mill closing… let alone everything(!) else happening in the world.

And then this beautiful corner of the internet reminds me that there is hope, and there is good.

And it is lovely.

Key stats from 21st Jan.’s British Wool sale:

🧶 1,350 tonnes offered. 98.8% clearance.
🧶 Average price greasy fleece up 1.7% to £1.09 per kg.
🧶 Average price clean fleece up 1.7% to £1.63 per kg.

The steady growth we have seen over recent months continues, but will it last?
