incidentally the other notable game off the top of my head with an "old" cartoon woman that's visibly over 50 but not drawn in the Crone Zone also just so happens to be a Korean gacha with anime-style characters (Counterside)

i have almost 0 personal exp. with the series so i can't speak to the new additions and length from the OG, but it feels breezy and whimsical, from the goofy spell names to the monster designs. The combat can get surprisingly tough, and i ended up turning diff. down to make work-related progress.

Cleared Dragon Quest 1 HD-2D Remake for work. Despite this being my first mainline DQ, I know a fair amount just from osmosis, but it was good to experience the series personally. The charm is real, im still humming the BGM! Will need to make time to clear DQ2 before year's end. #ubmedia

Interesting, the banner seems to have updated to be more detailed rather than going "adults-only" (though it's effectively the same unless you've dug into your default filters). wonder if this could be used 4 more granular content warnings considering the "sexual content" tag is way too broad atm

putting off finally starting hundred line ( I know I know) by playing demo for Ravager (it's like Choice of the Dragon if it were 18+ and had visuals)
and it has a cute voiced interaction that pops up at the start to set up content preferences. effective, more games should try it instead of dry TWs
