Surprised that the ARA strategy consultation's focus is on 4 core principles, 3 of which involve digital preservation in some way, yet they've cancelled their DPC membership. Such a short sighted move from @araukie.bsky.social.

When I moderate panels (or do my own events) I always preface Q&A time with 3 rules:
1. Questions must be in the form of a question
2. Questions must be one part questions
3. Questions must be as short as possible
Because that way we can get more questions in.
I cut people off if they ignore.

Do read Kate Watson's post for the numbers on male domination of panel Q&As, and the easy adjustments moderators can make to prevent it.
