I believe in the goodness of others but also recognize that our love for what is right must sometimes be fierce. Standing firm in our principles can be an act of compassion, both for ourselves and the world around us.

Apologies. I missed that. Exploring further it seems they were held separately from all other inmates and then transferred to a male prison. Where they are now.

No they weren’t. They’re in a men’s prison and their request was denied, as are most of these types of requests.
