Very sad to hear of the passing of Baron Etherton. While he will be chiefly remembered as a distinguished judge and parliamentarian, for me Terry was foremost a brilliant barrister and the best cross-examiner I’ve ever seen. He was also a generous colleague in chambers. May his memory be a blessing.
