Democrats should make it a condition for their votes that any funds that were appropriated but not obligated by the administration should automatically get extended into next fiscal year. Or at least force an up-or-down vote on each line item

A stakeholder is someone who is affected by a business decision, but has no real ability to influence that decision. An example is a business considering whether to expand at a site. The local community will be affected - schools, traffic, nearby restaurants & other businesses, etc

This whole thing is ridiculous. They're shutting down National Airport, they're shutting down multiple streets, all for a parade that will probably be attended by a few thousand MAGA diehards, and which is likely to cause lots of damage to city streets that weren't designed to support tanks.

I would love to see a site that aggregated crosstabs. I know there’s a lot of difficulty there, but it just seems like a ton of data that nobody is doing anything with

Suggestion for you- please stop use of phrase "officer-involved shooting". How was the officer "involved" exactly? How about "Nearly two years after Kane County deputies shot and killed James Moriarty..." This would be both clearer and more descriptive

I remember hearing something similar in 2000, right before 3rd party votes swung the election to Bush and all that followed (Iraq, torture, tax cuts for the wealthy, right-wing Supreme Court, Katrina, and the great recession of 2007-2009.
