Not necessarily. A tin of beans labelled Canadian means the beans are from Canada. The tin or the metal it is made from or the paper for the label could be from somewhere else. Machinery used to farm the beans, put them in the tin & get it to market could also be impacted by tariffs, raising costs.

If you buy canned items. Also it impacts machinery that the food producers may use in production, thus driving the cost of the food up.
