The HHS is cutting funds to help LGBTQ youth callers to the National Suicide Hotline. National organizations like @trevorproject.bsky.social will be filling this need.

artists are so used to being exploited that they literally don't know how to stand up for themselves, ever wonder why the music industry hasn't had the same issue with AI we have? We are undervalued as creators and a lack of support systems leaves us vulnerable. Be brave and show them you matter.

At first, I understood the necessity of staying on twitter for a lot of artists doing business, but the time to leave is now.
It's impossible to escape your work being scraped at some point, but you at least don't have to be complicit. Change doesn't happen easily, show that you have a backbone.

These executive orders on banning federally funded entities from recognizing trans people or disallowing them from using the bathroom are not self-executing or immediately enforceable. They require formal rule making at a minimum. They are a scare tactic. Ignore and do not comply in advance.
