I know I have been quiet lately. That’s not like me. I am normally quite vocal in the face of oppression. But I have run out of words. I have run out of the kind of words to share with others to show solidarity or offer hope. What’s happening in our country right now is awful. Beyond awful. Jesus! 🙏🏼

The Supreme Court issued a stay, effectively ruling, for now, that the Constitution no longer applies, at least not to immigrants. Fast-track deportations with no opportunity for judicial review violate the fundamental principle of due process, especially for people already on U.S. soil.

Living with chronic illness, being neurodivergent, being Queer, and having progressive views make finding a job harder (I need part-time with flexibility due to my disabilities). Add to that the fact my expertise is social justice/advocacy and I live in the DMV where lots of feds are unemployed… 😕

The more I hear the clip from Trump talking about dolls the more I wonder how many 11 year old girls he knows. They are NOT babies. That language is not appropriate. He is either infantilizing or sexualizing them. Neither is okay. #notyourbaby

Kudos to the Maryland House for passing the Protecting Sensitive Locations Act. It is unfortunate that it’s needed, but glad to be in a state willing to stand up for ALL our neighbors.

Bought a new hybrid yesterday. (Not a Trashla). I could have waited another year, but wanted to buy before the stupid tariffs kick in. Luckily, we can afford to do that. I worry about so many people who will have to go deeper into debt just to have transportation.
