I feel I would be less frustrated if it was just in general, a popularity thing. Where it's bought out because people are genuinely happy with their collectable or played with their collectable. But people who only buy them to spin lucrative profits... Just really gets to me

He loves slivers as a nostalgia hit. We havent bought cards for years; so it was cool to see a modern sliver deck come out. I thought I would surprise him with it, but its just so unaffordable.
My frustration with scalpers is just... indescribable.
So now I am trying to price out individual cards...

I am very similar. I also compile them in folders of ones I will actively check every so often, ones I only want to check in on occasionally, ones specifically for software/programs, and otherwise, I actually actively delete ones I no longer engage with to declutter.

Also deeply curious about why electrical discharges dont appear to effect them.
