Blue states already have codified trans rights.
Red states are, well, red. Running on trans issues isn't going to help shift a red state purple/blue. It's going to do the exact opposite, shift those red states further red.

Plus like I said: Democrats don't control the House, Senate, or Oval Office. We can't do anything about trans issues for the next two years. The more we bring it up, the more Republicans will happily pass laws targeting trans people.

And she couldn't properly distance herself from the general cultural zeitgeist on the left, which very much includes trans issues.
