The funniest warning I saw was when watching Django Unchained in a cinema in India. During the 'mandingo' scene, in which two slaves brutally fight each other to the death, the legend 'Smoking is injurious to health' was plastered across the bottom of the screen.

Also there was such a high turnover of prime ministers between 2016 and 2024, I think a lot of people got addicted to the drama of it. They want that churn to continue, and find the prospect of a PM seeing out his full five years unthinkable dull.

Last year, we were able to leave comments under the rolling Glasto coverage on the Guardian website. Hundreds did so, and it was a great accompaniment and fun to read. This year, the only place to comment is here, on someone else's website. Can't help feeling something has been lost by this decision

Formerly industrial cities have been very successful at regenerating themselves in the last 30 years. Manchester, Liverpool and Glasgow are always enjoyable to visit.
