Yeah, they even brought back Shadow High now, specifically the first wave that was all b/w and grey scale. These dolls originally didn’t sell well to kids but I think they realized adult collectors love them. Some even have the wrist joints again and details like molded rings or nose piercings.

PS Misty is also one of those leg gimmick dolls, her legs are filled with blue oil and water. I usually try to put tights on these dolls if possible but it doesn’t look that bad. Could definitely be worse. Body swapping RH dolls seems kinda daunting bc the heads are so hard.

Rainbow High is really pushing back against that G2 slandering lately. No one can honestly say that this is an ugly cheap-looking doll. I do miss the articulation and the cup’s design is a sticker (buh!) but Misty’s just too gorgeous. (Tights added by me). #rainbowhigh #dollsky

Rainbow High is really pushing back against that G2 slandering lately. No one can honestly say that this is an ugly cheap-looking doll. I do miss the articulation and the cup’s design is a sticker (buh!) but Misty’s just too gorgeous. (Tights added by me). #rainbowhigh #dollsky

Felt nostalgic yesterday and went on a stroll through Arcadia in Animal Crossing New Leaf. The plaza tree is losing its leaves. Said hello to everyone and then had a coffee (the usual) at the Roost before watching the sunset at my favorite spot at the end of Main Street. #AnimalCrossing

I ended up getting another and either I spilled some of the scented oil from a Yummiland doll on her or she’s actually scented. It seems there are four of these, the mint one is the Birthday Fairy and this one is Dream. #dollsky

Another step closer to completing the entire G1 of #RainbowHigh and Shadow High. Eliza McFee completes the Shadow High Costume Ball line. I’m still not a fan of the writing on the dress and the wings are a little hard to work with but she’s so pretty. Love the pearlescent skin. #dollsky

So how is your evening going? I did a stupid and actually tried the slime gimmick
on Bella. I finally got all the glitter cleaned up and threw away the slime. Stuffed her legs with the pure glitter and ultimately changed her outfit (hair still wet). Now I really love her. #dollsky #rainbowhigh

Be very careful if you unbox the Us Skullectors. The paper man garland is actually made of paper not plastic and I almost tore it. The attention to detail on these dolls is incredible. The hair alone. Whatever special technique they used, it’s perfect. #dollsky #monsterhigh

German Amazon has two more, one that inexplicably costs 23 Euro and one for 5. I ordered the latter now. I was wondering if they are blind boxes but no, you see the fairy peek out of the house as artwork. Not sure how many there are bc the preview just shows badly photoshopped closed houses lol

I had never heard of these dolls before. Apparently they are called “ Pixie Flitzies” and they come with a house to hang on the wall, a letterbox for letters to your fairy and they are scented. Got her for 4€ on Vinted. Really cute. #dollsky

I already see people being negative and critical and stuff like “I expected more.” It kinda feels like G3 just can’t win. Robecca is super close to her G1 design in the very best way. She still gives Victorian steampunk and also doesn’t bring less to the table than G1. #MonsterHigh #dollsky

I am so glad that I am an out of box collector. The #ShadowHigh costume ball line never made it to Europe and I found Lola relatively cheap on ebay but this is how she arrived. They mailed her in a flimsy bag with just two pieces of cardboard as protection 🫣 But she’s absolutely gorgeous. #dollsky

I am so glad that I am an out of box collector. The #ShadowHigh costume ball line never made it to Europe and I found Lola relatively cheap on ebay but this is how she arrived. They mailed her in a flimsy bag with just two pieces of cardboard as protection 🫣 But she’s absolutely gorgeous. #dollsky
