Monster Rancher 2 on PS1 had a gimmick where you could swap out the disc with any other disc mid-game in order to summon a monster from the other disc. CDs, DVDs, Games; any disc that you could find laying around the house. But it turns out... Monster Rancher 2 was the real monster all along...

I have memories of getting this series from a spinner rack at a gas station that my mom always went to. My favorite issue was the Super Sonic vs Hyper Knuckles special, where Sonic and Knuckles went Super Saiyan. Sonic turned yellow and Knuckles turned pink.
