One thing I learned from oil painting is to slow down, and it's okay to take several sessions to finish a painting. I don't know why i always expected my gouache painting to be completed within 1h. 😌I like gouache a lot more when i paint slowly.

I've been rewatching Downton Abbey!
the composition and lighting of this show are so beautiful. and the acting and the expressiveness really made me want to paint more portraits. I had so much fun painting this one while watching @emhuesart gouache tutorial on YouTube 🥰
