Hong Kong 2097 is a twin stick shooter, not a vertical shooter. You also have a shield that can block/absorb green bullets (but not purple bullets). Absorbing bullets temporarily powers up your weapon. It might be fun?

I haven't posted here in ages, and that's because I've been super hard at work on my next game: Hong Kong 2097. It's the official sequel to Hong Kong 97, and I'm making it together with Kowloon Kurosawa, the developer of the original. Should be releasing quite soon

I did it! I actually beat OverOBJ! and people think Violet Wisteria is difficult? it's childs play compared to the final stage of OverOBJ.
