And the fact that the story is kinda just more of the same but worse idk it's just felt like a step down in a way compared to the first ( and I'm honestly kinda new to the first only having beat it like 3 months before 2 came out so it's not even nostalgia talking)

I haven't played Starfield or Dragon Age, but I did finish Dragon's Dogma 2. I wouldn't say it's bad; I just don't like what it represents in gaming. I loved my time with it in the moment, but when I think back on it, the fact that it was horribly optimized and very lackluster in depth bothers me1/2

It's like don't get me wrong I like cats but I'm drowning in them
