Pursuant to my other thread about Landry’s Amendment defeat and his subsequent tantrum destroying higher education: last time I voted Election Day in Hammond LA, a person collapsed from the extreme heat and was taken away in an ambulance. When we turn out, we win, and they’ll kill us to stop that.
I really need yall to stop using voting as the cudgel against who is allowed to be afraid and angry when it takes 6 hours on average to vote on majority Black and Brown neighborhoods in America. People CAMPING OVERNIGHT to vote.
