In 2018, the Ulster County Department of Mental Health launched Integrated Ulster — a collaborative, person-centered "no-wrong-door" approach to caring for individuals struggling with mental health and substance use challenges. (1/4)

As part of her senior project at Woodstock Day School, student Devon organized a panel discussion for the entire upper school on the roles of different levels of government, why elections matter, and how young people — at any age — can get involved and make a difference in their communities. (1/2)

It’s always a treat to read to the children at Wraparound Services of the Hudson Valley. 📖 They loved “Ladybug Girl” by the local author/illustrator team, Jacky Davis and David Soman, and the book inspired a lot of talk about costumes for next Halloween! (1/3)

On Friday, I visited George Slutsky at his home in Ellenville to wish him a Happy 100th Birthday! A World War II veteran and founder of Slutsky Lumber, George has been a pillar of the community for decades.

(2/3) This is the first dedicated therapy dog program for a 911 center in New York State, providing much-needed stress relief for our 911 dispatchers, who handle over 120,000 calls a year, 24/7. The therapy dog will also be available to support first responders across Ulster County.
