It was an honour to join Minister of State for European Affairs and Defence, Thomas Byrne TD, at the launch of the Communicating Europe Initiative 2025. CEUROS was represented by Dr Sorcha de Brún & Director Dr Michaela Schrage-Frueh, who presented her funded project “Ageing in Ireland and the EU.”

We are delighted to support our students in ConSIMium. Six Irish students are taking part in this Simulation of all decision-making levels in the Council of the EU and European Council. Prof. Joachim Fischer will be assisting students@unioflimerick.bsky.social in their preparation for this endeavor.

We are happy to announce that the project “European Societal Challenges in German Culture: Exploring Ageing and Climate Change in Tandem” secured funding for two years by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
