👩‍⚕️🔎 Symptoms of mpox include a skin rash or pus-filled lesions lasting 2 to 4 weeks. It can also cause fever, headaches, muscle aches, back pain, low energy and swollen lymph nodes.
Anyone who thinks they may have mpox should call NHS 111 for advice:

🔴 men who have sex with men
🔴 have multiple sexual partners
🔴 have group sex
🔴 visit sex-on-premises venues

That is why it’s important that parents return consent forms so children can get the nasal spray vaccine when it is offered in schools. If your child has missed the vaccine at school, get in touch with your local school immunisation team to find how you can get a vaccine. Those children in high risk groups can also go through their GP.”
