Part of me wants to believe that this is Light Yagami vs Maximillian Robespierre (Writing a persons name in the Death Note gives them a heart attack) but I’m not sure lol.

If you’re still looking for some Princess Diana ideas, I think Eva Perón would be an excellent idea! They both used their public persona to connect with people, address social issues and help the poor and disadvantaged, thus becoming symbols in womanhood and compassion in their respective country.

Even if I only heard of Red Baron (though that’s only because of Snoopy lol) something tells me this will be an amazing video!

Also, If you ever think about doing another WW1 vs WW2 matchup I would recommend Lawrence of Arabia vs Douglas MacArthur. Been seeing it a lot and I love it!

Some argue Rembrandt could be dry as far as rappers go. But erb is always creative with dry characters by always thinking outside the box.

Like imagine if Rembrandt came in to battle by emerging from darkness, reminiscent of his chiaroscuro art style. The potential is limitless imo.

Artists/Activists who used oral poetry as a way to express racial struggles, their hardships, and uplift their identities and culture, resulting in a new renaissance for music (hip hop and jazz) and more creatives emerging in the era they helped pioneered (Gangsta Rap and The Harlem Renaissance).

It really is a great idea. Controversial ringleaders of stunt-based entertainment, promoting performers and dangerous acts in different rings (Circus Ring and Wrestling Ring).
I can see why it’s been requested so much in the community!

The Eds are also among the most iconic and recognizable comedy trios in animation, and was one of the highest rated shows during its run. Not to mention it earning the title as the longest running Cartoon Network show for a while. I think its deserving, especially to get some CN representation.

I’ve seen this idea a lot recently and I think it’s amazing! Glad you like it too!
Some casting ideas I’ve also been seeing floating around is Ryan Higa as Miyamoto and Joji as Miyazaki. I think that’s really sick casting, especially getting an OG like Ryan.

I personally really like Sailor Moon vs He-Man (with She Ra coming in to back the latter)

Magic wielding royal forces of light and justice who transform from a meek teen to a powerful and iconic protector of humanity. Plus among other connections, like their iconic status in 80s and 90s culture.

The connection between Light and Robespierre is especially great!

Executioners with god complexes who rid their society of criminals for the purpose of creating utopias, justified with a “The End justify the needs” ideology, only for them to be killed by the thing they used to kill!

I love Light Yagami vs Robespierre. Such a unique and interesting one, and I think you’d like Death Note! It actually got a lot of non-anime fans into the medium.
Others I like is Luffy vs Jack Sparrow and Miyazaki vs Miyamoto.

(Also featuring their iconic drunk and morally questionable stars, Peter Griffin and Fritz the Cat!)
I think this would be interesting! Especially if you got Mikey Bolts as Seth.

I’ve been thinking about this one lately:
Seth MacFarlane vs Ralph Bakshi
(Pioneers in adult animation whose crude humor and covering of touchy themes pushed boundaries in what you can get away with on tv and film respectively, making their respective work equally controversial and successful. )

I agree! I like the “Brain vs Brawn” and chessboxing connection.
Heck, even both sports are often compared to one another since they require quick decision making and a lot of thought and strategy in outmaneuvering opponents.
And also, both were young prodigies who won championships at young ages!

That was really good! Though I’m really intrigued by the teaser at the end… something tells me it has to do with Van Gogh lol.

Also Hendrix being considered one of the greatest guitar players ever, and Cobain being considered one of the greatest lyricists creates a unique contrast for the two to fight over!
January 23, 2025 at 11:42 PM
Jimi Hendrix vs Kurt Cobain is on you’ve been hesitant on, saying it’s about death. But my view is that both left an impact on different counterculture eras and were masters at controlling guitar feedback! Also wrote some parallels more in depth too! (couldn’t fit here lol) Have a great one! :)
