Exactly. I try to talk about the bigger picture here but folks seem to be hung up just the 2024 election, maybe they are young? But yes watching the lesser of two evils play out over decades and decades has shown me how “left” the Dems are. They are slightly right of center at best.

When have they actually given healthcare? They have had plenty of opportunities. Like a few years back when the house, senate, and executive were all dem. They could have codified Roe v wade as law, we could have a single payer system. Plenty of dems supported citizens united which has led us here.

As I just read on Eleanor’s page - voting for the lesser of two evils get you less and it’s still evil. No one is saying trump isn’t evil, horrible and an outright fascist, but there needs to be an actual alternative. Not just another rich puppet for the fossil fuel and war industries in a blue tie

What do you think that “hard rain” is? Is it giving Israel 10 million a day? Is it having a health care system that profits from people dying and staying sick? Is that hard rain gonna come and provide a rainbow over Guantanamo bay, or the pentagon, or all our prisons that keep that economy stable?

This goes back much further than Kamala. If dems want to win they would need to be for the people, not for the wealthy class, and private business interests. Dems could have not sabotaged Bernie and Taco wouldn’t have even gotten his first term.
