Post credit scene had Power showing up to Denji's whereabouts after his "breakup" and no show with Reze. I see them much more as besties with the worst qualities, not so much any romantic feelings. That's special too and I know that develops later on.

Reze's fighting was super cool and I loved one of her last bomb battles having colored smoke, reflected back to the earlier firework scene. I still don't really see Makima and Denji working together, but I guess I don't know enough about Makima (from the anime alone). Power on the other hand...

The contrast of Makima and Denji's date to his with Reze was nice. I love watching a movie with characters also watching a movie lmao. I too teared up at the mother hugging his son scene wahh. I also teared up with Denji proclaiming "What about Denji's heart?? Doesn't anyone want that??!" 👏👏👏

but I have hope for them! I think it'd be cool if they teamed up with the yokai monster fighter guy who looks like that blonde home stuck character. surely there may be a way to be happy together. but I have a feeling that tragedy might be in store and Yoshiki gets consumed by Hikaru T_T

story hints at Yoshiki having feelings for Hikaru pre-death and maybe with post-death version of him aswell. Even tho that possibility isn't one that feels possible, their friendship is sufficient enough and treasured by both parties. even though being together harms Yoshiki and puts him in danger 🥀

yall I don't think senpai knows how to handle bullies 🥀
