I still think about the trustafarian 20 years ago who would ridicule me for pointing out ska came before reggae. "Desmond Decker called himself the king of ska. Whose your king" Still waiting for an answer. Now I realize he probably didn't actually know Desmond Dekker so he had no context to answer.
