Beautiful feelings as I walked upon Milk Hill and beside Adam’s Grave yesterday evening.

Inspired by Hedley’s stunning picture I ventured to Wayland’s place yesterday - Through The Cathedral approach from Uffington ways to the Smithy. I didn’t want to miss the colours before it was too late. Too windy for any drone shots of my own sadly. Catch it while you can.

Think I captured a picture of a green winged fairy in Folly Wood this morning. #wiltshire #cottingley

We summited the Giant’s Grave and Matinsell today. The biggest acorns I’ve ever seen.

The sky was clear at Stonehenge 20 years ago. Stunning light and beautiful people back in 2005. Happy Solstice, welcome to summer 🌞 #summersolstice #stonehenge

Excited to receive my stunning copy of Wild Folk today. Given my Blue Sky handle I was particularly drawn to the page with this old horse on it, though every page is an experience. Thank you Jackie Morris & @tamsintheshed.bsky.social I think it’s time to visit my old friend Wayland for a catch up.

I was on The Ridgeway today too. Here’s a view over Streatley Warren. Blossom’s up!

SNAP! I completely forgot I took this picture when I left work today too. Another blurry moon, not as gorgeous as the colours in yours though. Maybe I finished work a little earlier. I think that’s Venus shining brightly.

It gets much worse on the car front 🤣

It does, it’s a bit of a time capsule. Well worth a visit. I had a happy afternoon taking some ‘now and then’ The Witches photos a couple of years. There’s a very nice un-ruined church in the village which they made sure didn’t appear in the film, it would have kind of ruined the storyline!!

Impromptu trip to Avebury with Mum today. Ribbons lost amongst the glorious autumn colour of the beech trees, the ones with gobsmacking roots on the eastern side of the circle. #avebury

That is a lovely thing to have. My Great-Grandfather John Albert Small was killed at Loos in September 1915. We have the New Testament he was carrying.

Goldfinches galore on the Castle Hill half of Wittenham Clumps at the moment tucking into the teasels. Charming!

Hungry caterpillars! Everybody was out and about foraging for blackberries.

Silbury Hill erupted today!

What a difference a day makes. Yesterday was wet and cold, but today sunshine and some warmth. Here’s Silbury from atop Walden Hill. Also Avebury with Silbury Hill in the distance. Glorious colours today. #avebury #silbury #prehistory #wiltshire

The round barrows of West Overton Hill and Avebury Down a couple of days ago. Parked at The Sanctuary, up The Ridgeway, through the barrows, (couldn’t get into Avebury due to mud), back along the Herepath and onto The Ridgeway again. A windy walk through the best landscape - bliss. #avebury #barrows

Much needed time spent with nature today. A bullfinch & a woodlark at Greenham Common in the morning & thousands upon thousands of snowdrops at Welford Park in the afternoon. #birds #snowdrops #berkshire
