Trump has turned the United States into an obedient puppet of the Kremlin.
Trump has been a Russian asset for 40 years. The question is why did the political, military and media look the other way?

The problem with buying US arms is that they come with strings attached. In a crisis spare parts/maintenance can be withheld or limits placed on their use - giving Trump power over you.
Its not about buying the *best* - sometimes *good enough* may be more useful in a crisis.

Nästa år blir skatten på ett ISK hela 1,065 procent. Det betyder att någon som har en halv miljon på ett ISK bara betalar 2000 kronor i skatt.

The media needs to stop calling it a peace plan. It's a Republican surrender plan for Europe. Why? Because Republicans have embraced fascist plutocracy and Europe isn't.

Trump’s signals to Zelensky and Europe: Accept this plan or you’re on your own | CNN
The 28-point plan hammered out by US and Russian envoys and put to Ukraine this week came with a deadline and an implicit threat: Sign up or face the risk of being abandoned.

Trump promised $5,000 “DOGE dividend checks” for every American. Today, the Office of Personnel Management confirmed DOGE “does not exist.” Rather, it has been completely disbanded. All that chaos. All those firings. All the deaths as a result of the destruction of USAID. All for nothing.

So don't give in.
What was wrong with trump's demand on 11 March for an immediate ceasefire and then discussions?
258 days later, Putin hasn't shifted, so we feel we have to. Why?
Trump promised to be ruthless if Putin didn't agree to a ceasefire. Look what happened since.

But Europe! What are you doing?
Surely all your Intelligence agencies have spelled it out to you about the century old Moscow tradition of maximalist demands. Indeed they usually demand more than everything, just so if they need to give ground, they can go back to the maximum

At the end of the day, I would readily bet that there will be no peace plan—for one simple reason, which I have often emphasized: there cannot be one with Russia.
This is not actually bad news, however, but rather the opposite—at least if Europeans prove themselves equal to the historical task.
