As in #UWEC Q2, the unseeded teams outperformed the seeded teams in the Round of 16, winning 5 of 8 series. Quarterfinal bracket below.

Congrats to all the league winners. Hacken, as the highest-ranked team outside the top six leagues, could be promoted to C3 or even direct to league stage.

The three Norway teams and the two Belarus teams are decided, but where they go is still to be decided. Nike-Lusso will secure Georgia's title on the next matchday; likely the same with Spartak in Russia in case that matters.

#UWCL standings after MD1: Spain leading the way. Looking ahead to MD2, ManU-AtlM is the only match between two teams that won, Benfica-Arsenal is the only match between two teams that lost, and the two MD1 draws exchange opponents!

Not to be overshadowed too much, the draw for Q2 of the UWEC is also today. 32 teams from 22 nations. Unlike the men's qualifying rounds, UEFA is not dividing the clubs into smaller groups, so except for country protection and Ukraine/Belarus prevention, any seeded team can play any unseeded team.

Turkiye is one of six nations whose European season is over, but they exit heads held high, with Fomget drawing twice to SFK before going out on penalties. That follow-up to Galatasaray's group stage appearance means Turkiye will send two teams to European play in 2027-28.
