Rising fourth-years Annie Yang and Seri Welsh have been recognized by the Udall Foundation for their work and commitment on environmental causes.

Yang was named a Udall Scholar while Welsh received an honorable mention from the organization.

Luke Magyar exited the armed forces only to rededicate himself to helping former service members. Now he has been selected by the Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation as one of 54 recipients to earn the award that is centered around public service.

Congratulations to fourth-year student Cara Wilson on being selected as a James C. Gaither Junior Fellows Program by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. Cara will assist the nonpartisan international affairs think tank in their nuclear policy division starting this fall.

Second-year Cooper Costello captured the first individual national championship of his career, and three relay teams also grabbed titles as the UChicago men’s swimming and diving team finished third at the NCAA Division III national championships!
