Truth be told…, my portfolio grew by $125K this yr, I’m well on my way to topping 2M in 2026. In all honesty I could never spend all of that w/the time I have left on 🌎. My charity list is long & they will be my benefactors. Imagine having 10 or 100 x more, think of the good these people could do.

What does HC really cost? I just had surgery for prostate cancer, total bill w/ Dr visits, MRI, Biopsy,PScan, Blood work, anesthesia, robotic surgery, hospital stay & surgeon fees is nearly $90K. I’m lucky I’m retired Navy so it cost me $0. I feel guilty knowing people go bankrupt to pay for this.

Since I had no skin in the game it was a pleasure to watch and enjoy the ebb & flow. Reminded me of the 2016 WS game 7, Cleveland & Cubs, the Tribe tied it up in the 9th on a HR and then lost in the 10th. Great series, kudos to MLB for a great season. Unfortunately 2026 might be the last.

The post season for MLB actually turned out to be well played on the field and compelling in interest & ratings. Last night in my part of the world every bar & restaurant had the game on. A far cry from the past when u had to ask the bar tender to put the game on at least one TV.

A lot of different things all at once happened between the Russian revolution, the end of WWI, the Versailles Treaty, the push for socialism/communism in Germany etc, and the rise of Nazism. A very complicated confluence of events that eventually lead to Soviet Union and Nazi Germany

The definitive book by H.W. Brands “FDR Traitor to his Class”, pretty much spells out Franklin’s penchant for political strategy & his ability to hood wink his opponents. BTW he effectively used Mrs Roosevelt to execute a lot of his thorniest proposals.

Absolutely. If you’re interested listen to “Real Dictators” from Noiser. The Hitler Story & The Stalin Story are great history lessons. The narrator Paul McGann is a compelling story teller & it’s peppered with SME’s throughout. There is also a Mussolini Story thrown in to round out the trifecta.

Wow these guys definitely took notes from the Wannasee Conference back in 1942. If your interested HBO did a great movie on this called Conspiracy, watch it and it will send chills down your spine.

I think the guy is just a crank with a vast background of starts & stops. Altruistic & steep into 60’s & 70’s nostalgia & claptrap. Nothing wrong with that however…, when your schtick for the past 10+ yrs revolves around the demise of TFG & he is still here creates a real credibility problem.
