I think the few following seasons are definitely better imo, but the newest seasons would benefit from a return to that tone. You have to actually be funny to pull off what seasons 3-9 did well, and it makes modern stuff unbearable

Yeah thank God for manga pacing. I can get back to whatever fun stuff Bulma or Mr. Satan are up to when I control the pace. Not to say all the battles are completely uninteresting, but they run out of compelling gimmicks around halfway through

IMO World is my personal best in the series and makes 8 in particular really hard to go back to. It def helps that the free roam mode is my favorite Mario Kart experience in decades

Original GameCube one looks prettier too imo
