We should use the term legal resident instead of lawful migrant. This is because there have been so many arguments about migrants that “cut in line” and arguments they need to just follow the legal processes. But she DID follow the legal processes- and then they turned on her without justification

The Shark is way better than the Dyson, and I 1000% love it. BUT! I believe Conair and Revlon have dupes out now that are only like $100 and look very promising.

Universities began sending out notices to grad school applicants in the sciences, alerting they may not be able to admit students or offer paid research assistantships, due to the funding freezes. After decades of steering kids towards STEM, now they might not be able to get degrees in science.

How does spending money to feed and house migrants who were previously largely covering these costs themselves save our government money?

Nope. Trump knows he needs a scapegoat to survive. He is a master of riling people up by giving them someone to collectively hate. If Musk goes, the hate will fall on Trump. Musk won’t go until Musk is no longer useful to Trump &Voight is sufficiently groomed to step into that scapegoat role.

No. Congress isn’t being stripped of their powers. They are freely handing those powers over to the President.

How does paying people to NOT work save the government money? Also- I thought Republicans called that Welfare, and they had a war on Welfare.

The most valuable part of this interview is the confirmation they are defining fraud as any govt initiative they disagree with- regardless of whether it was appropriated by Congress or helps people or is legit serving its intended purpose.

Nope. Trump knows he needs a scapegoat to survive. He has always relied on them. He is a MASTER of riling people up & giving them someone to hate. If Dems block 50% of what they seek to do, he still sees it as a win b/c he did what his base wanted, & then got rid of musk when he’s no longer useful

Trump’s current Scapegoat in Chief

Trump knows he needs scapegoats to survive. He is likely thrilled w/ Musk b/c Musk is taking so much heat and blame while making his base happy. Eventually Musk will likely get the boot and Trump will find a new scapegoat.

This sucks. But there are 1000 other tactics and strategies Dems can use to protect and strengthen democracy. Trump/ Musk/ DOGE expect to lose on some battlefronts- this is why they attack on so many fronts at once.

6/ When Dems don’t use a multi-pronged strategy to solve problems like this, it gives the appearance they care more about advancing their political ideology than helping real people. Dems can learn here by responding with a VAST multi-pronged strategy to protect & strengthen democracy. 6/6.

5/ If Dems took the Trump/ DOGE/ Muskers approach & applied it to multi-pronged problems like gun violence, they could win & make major impact even if they don’t pass a signature law. When Dems don’t do this, it opens the door for opposition to redefine problems & shift focus to other factors. 5/_
