Last month, UCAAN Co-PI Dr. Shannon Thyne presented at UCLA’s Children’s Discovery and Innovation Institute (CDI) Scientific Seminar Series. The seminar focused on how to navigate health services research when there’s lots of data, too many ideas, and too little time.

A policy brief on pediatric developmental screening from the UCLA Pritzker Center and ACEs-LA Network of Care finds that ACE screening may support early identification of developmental concerns, which can lead to earlier interventions for children. The UCAAN team attended the Pediatric Academic Societies (PAS) Meeting in Honolulu, an international gathering of pediatric physician-scientists, clinicians, and educators to share research, explore new ideas, build career opportunities, and collaborate on projects. Thank you for having us!
