In November, UCAAN advisor Krista Kotz, PhD, MPH attended the American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting and Expo.

Krista spread the word about ACEs Aware's impact in her poster session and in conversations with those within and outside of California.

On October 22, UCAAN partner, ACEs LA, held their Fall Community-Based Organization (CBO) Convening for their CBO partners and Clinical partners to share resources and discuss which topics they are interested in learning more about.

Last month, UCAAN Co-PI Dr. Shannon Thyne presented at UCLA’s Children’s Discovery and Innovation Institute (CDI) Scientific Seminar Series. The seminar focused on how to navigate health services research when there’s lots of data, too many ideas, and too little time.

On March 30, UCAAN celebrated the work of our Youth and Young Adult Council and Young Adult Patient Advisors, who have supported ACEs Aware and the Live Beyond campaign.
